As Billing Specialist, you will support the Billing Manager with data reporting and AR posting. This role is an essential function within our Finance team and requires a strong attention to detail and efficient time management skills.  

• Provide direct support to the Billing Manager, performing general accounting functions such as accounts receivable and miscellaneous bookkeeping tasks
• Assist with client billing reports
• Assist with invoice drafting, editing, and processing
• Manage worksheets, run data reports, and monitor payment of invoices
• Communicate effectively with team members to anticipate billing delays or other issues that may impact the efficiency of the billing cycle
• Ensure all general accounting transactions are entered into accounting software appropriately and in a timely manner
• Process Apercen client electronic payments as required

• Strong basic understanding of accounting principles and general bookkeeping functions
• Communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and via email

Desired Qualifications: 

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 1 year of applicable experience
• Strong Excel skills

Apercen is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role for those assigned and/or hired to work in for New York City Metro Area, Colorado, Washington State, and California. The salary range for all localities is $55,000 - $66,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, certifications, skills and geography. In addition, at Apercen we offer a comprehensive benefits package that is designed to meet the changing needs of our diverse workforce and help everyone achieve and maintain their best possible physical, emotional, and financial health.
