Job Description IT Sr. Desktop Support Technician, Apercen Partners

Apercen Partners LLC is seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Desktop Support technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technology-related issues when contacted by end users on-site and remotely
  • Respond to support inquiries via telephone, email, and chat
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software
  • Maintain software applications, operating systems and perform regular maintenance
  • Maintain asset inventory
  • Create documentation and tutorials for end users
  • Train end-users how to setup and use new technologies
  • Assist IT Systems Engineers with large scale technology projects
  • Ability to work overtime and extended project hours as needed
  • Occasional travel to support distributed office topology

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

  • AA Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Basic Active Directory knowledge (add accounts, remove accounts, change passwords)
    • Microsoft Azure & Office online experience a plus
  • PC hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • iPhone basic support (email setup, basic troubleshooting)
  • Basic MS Office 365 troubleshooting and support
  • Basic computer troubleshooting including:
    • Application issues
    • Browser issues
    • Connectivity issues
    • Update issues
  • Some experience managing/maintaining servers running Windows Server
  • Attention to detail
  • A positive and friendly attitude
  • Patient demeanor with users who are unsure with technology
  • Experience providing executive support a plus
  • Ability to work independently and quickly learn new concepts and procedures
  • 3+ years of experience in a desktop support or helpdesk role
