Position Summary:

Apercen Partners LLC is seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Systems Engineer to join our growing team. Essential Functions:

• Perform systems administration & engineering work in support of Windows core services, enterprise financials systems, and business productivity applications
• Perform TCP/IP connectivity setup & troubleshooting across a variety of technologies (LAN/WAN/Wireless) across multiple physical sites
• Perform advanced end-user productivity application support
• Initiate and track service requests with 3rd party vendors
• Work with IT management to identify and resolve escalations. Communicate with management on issues, resolution, and help contribute whenever possible
• Lead projects to maintain or replace infrastructure, hardware, or software
• Support Security standards & processes, assist in deployment of security technologies & tools
• Work with management and stakeholders to determine business requirements for new system capabilities and take responsibility for service delivery aligned with requirements
• Research products and services and determine applicability to Apercen's computing environments, creating recommendations for implementation
• Lead process improvement efforts by providing constructive feedback, suggesting alternatives, automation, and driving continuous process improvement

Qualifications:          

• 7+ years of experience delivering IT services across a broad array of technologies (end-user, systems, networks)
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and administration in the realms of routing & switching, site-to-site VPN technologies, Wi-Fi networks, VOIP
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and administration in the realms of Windows core services and email messaging systems
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise application engineering and administration (ERP/Financials)
• Strong customer service skills, ability and desire to work directly with end-users
• Ability to work overtime and extended project hours as needed
• Occasional travel to support distributed office topology
