    Accounting Clerk

    Position Summary:

    As an Accounting Clerk, you will focus on daily data entry and processing to support corporate finance and other internal teams. If you have a passion for client service and want to hone your accounting skills at the highest stage, you will love working at Apercen.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Support the Apercen Controller, performing accounting functions such as accounts payable, and general bookkeeping functions, and bank reconciliations
    • Primary duties include processing payables for Apercen
    • Assist with month end close process
    • Assist in routine 1099 maintenance and annual 1099 reporting process
    • Ensure all general accounting transactions are entered into accounting software appropriately and in a timely manner
    • Process Apercen client electronic payments as required
    • Perform general miscellaneous bookkeeping functions

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and general bookkeeping functions
    • Demonstrate strong organizational skills
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external teams both verbally and via email
    • Work well in a team environment
    • Possess the utmost integrity and uphold client confidentiality
    • Adapt quickly to change and prioritize workload
    • Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy
    • Understand and carry out directions in an independent manner
    • Work with Finance team to develop and implement policies and procedures
    • Ability to process rush items or otherwise meet daily deadlines

     

     

    Desired Qualifications:          

    • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-2 years of applicable experience
    • Strong Excel skills
